To celebrate World Wildlife Conservation Day 2023, come join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Mackenzie Maness and our park ranger staff for a special tour on Monday, December 4th at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center! During this special aviary tour, visitors can hike up to the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center at 10am for a special tour to view our captive birds of prey along the 550' boardwalk. Glove programs will be offered by our park staff and we will discuss/highlight the conservation success story of American Bald Eagles at Radnor Lake as part of this special day! Visitors can enjoy viewing our captive snakes and turtles inside the Education Center as well as spending some time in the Ann Tarbell Library where we have recently added a digital library inventory to review-search for specific areas of interest while visiting.Go here for more information and to register: reserve.tnstateparks.com/register/world-wildlife-conservation-day-at-radnor-lakeRegistration is required and free for all ages.
